Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 September 2026
1. Accepting these terms
By using The Puck Games ("the Site") you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Site. No account is required, so your use of the Site is itself your acceptance.
2. What we offer
The Site provides free browser games and puzzles about ice hockey, including daily puzzles and a career simulator. Everything is offered for entertainment. There is no subscription, no purchase and no prize.
The games are works of fiction and simulation. Results, ratings, careers and statistics generated by them are invented by the Site and do not describe real people, real matches or real outcomes.
3. Independence and names used
The Site is an independent, unofficial project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to any sports league, federation, club, association or player, nor with any of their governing bodies.
Where the names of clubs, competitions or countries appear on the Site, they are used only to identify the real-world entity a game refers to, in a descriptive way. No claim of ownership is made over them. All trademarks, logos, crests and other distinctive signs remain the property of their respective owners, and their presence here does not imply any approval or relationship.
If you own rights to material shown on the Site and you would rather it were not used, write to us and we will remove it promptly.
4. Intellectual property
The design, source code, game mechanics, text, illustrations and original graphics of the Site belong to us. You may play the games and share your results freely. You may not copy, clone, republish or sell the Site or substantial parts of it without our written permission.
Material belonging to third parties, such as club crests or competition marks, remains theirs and is not licensed to you by us.
5. Acceptable use
While using the Site, you agree not to:
- Use bots, scrapers or other automated means to access, copy or extract the Site's content or underlying data.
- Attempt to breach, probe or bypass the Site's security, or to access systems or data you are not meant to reach.
- Interfere with the normal operation of the Site, for example by overloading it.
- Reverse engineer the games in order to reproduce them elsewhere.
- Use the Site for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms others.
Working out the answer to a puzzle is the point of the Site, so nothing above is meant to stop you playing however you like, including sharing your results and discussing solutions with other people.
6. Accuracy of the content
Sporting data on the Site, such as lists of clubs and competitions, is compiled from public sources and is offered on a best-effort basis. It may be incomplete, outdated or wrong, and ratings assigned to teams are our own estimates for gameplay purposes, not an official measurement of anything. Do not rely on the Site as a source of factual sporting information.
7. Advertising and third-party links
The Site is funded by advertising. Ads are served by third parties and their content is not chosen or controlled by us. The Site may also link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content, products or practices of any third-party site or advertiser, and following those links is at your own risk.
How advertising affects your data is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
8. Availability
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time. We may change, suspend or discontinue any game or feature at any point, including daily puzzles and saved progress.
Your progress and streaks live in your own browser. We cannot restore them if they are lost, and we recommend you do not treat them as permanently stored.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site, nor for lost game progress, statistics or streaks.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these terms as the Site evolves. The date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept it.
We may restrict access to the Site for anyone who breaches these terms, particularly in cases of scraping, abuse or attempts to compromise it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be subject to the competent courts, without affecting the rights you may have as a consumer to bring proceedings in your own country of residence.
